DHJ501 – Medium Weight Iron On

DHJ is used extensively in the fashion trade and behaves so very similar to SF101 we had to have it, and it’s 112cm wide!

DHJ501 Features
Medium Woven Interfacing – Iron On
Width: 112cm
Application: Shiny side down
Iron: Cotton Heat setting / No Steam
12-18 seconds leave to cool before moving (hold a smidge longer than you do the SF101)
Glue Features Very fine dot pattern (finer than the SF101 which is why you need to hold a bit longer also means less puckering!)

Essentially she’ll go close to the full width of a standard quilt weight cotton (normally 112cm) which makes it easier to work out what you need. If pattern needs 1 metre of fabric and 2 metres of SF101 you’ll only need 1 metre of DHJ501 🙂

1 Unit = 0.25 metre
2 Units = 0.5 metre
3 Units = 0.75 metre
4 Units = 1 metre
5 Units = 1.25 metre
etc.

Fabric will be cut in continuous meterage as bolts allow.
