8mm x 5mm Chicago Screws – Antique Brass – 10 Pack
A classy alternative to the humble rivet – and easier to install!
We’ve been listening and the beautiful 8mm x 3mm Chicago Screws now have a slightly bigger version for those thicker areas. Introducing the 8mm x 5mm Chicago Screws.
Super easy to install:
- Create a hole for the shank to go through using your leather/hole punch – hole diameter should be slightly smaller than the shank we recommend punch that is 3mm – 3.25mm in diameter
- Insert the Shank through
- Pop a smidge of glue on the tip of your screw (E6000, HT2, Tiger grip or other clear drying metal/fabric glue)
- Using your flat head screwdriver, screw the base into the head shank, keep going until it’s all in tight and you’re done.
